History is Fun!!

Hiding things is not new, we all hide things from enemies and so did History ....... but the way was new.

After Pearl Harbour attack, West Coast (USA) was the next possible target of Japanese. USA decided to hide one of its war-time factories where approximately 7500 B-17 flying machines were being manufactured. A Hollywood set designer John made a Fake Roof Top Town on the Douglas Aircraft Company and decorated it with fake Roads, Vehicles, Houses, Gardens and even residents. Amazing Right? But after all this work, Japanese never made it to West coast. The entire town was dismantled and forgotten after the war.

An Aerial View.
